Original Linocut Print "Lobster Season 2023" Dueling Lobster - Test Print

Each piece is hand printed on acid free, natural, white rice paper. Protected with archival quality backing board and clear sleeve. Designed for this 2023  lobster season, prints will be made only during the season. Once the season ends these prints will no longer be available for purchase.

Test prints are created when I am getting close to finalizing my design and looking to start hand printing. I am checking for the subtle details I want to keep or highlight as well as clean up areas that I do not want ink marks. This test print is special as it was one of the first times I printed on my original handmade suminagashi paper.

NOTE: design is hand carved and each piece is a hand printed original. Due to the nature of this item there may be minor variations in image placement and ink density.
